Exel formulas to change a cell once a print has been performed

Is there a way in excel to change a cell dependent on a print having just been done eg

cell says "1" but after print butten is pushed cell now says "3"

Just wondering

And would you want this to be reset to 1 after some time interval, say an hour ? a day ?

You can use a Workbook_BeforePrint event:

Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
With Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1")
    .Value = .Value + 2
