Export as XML

Hi,

I've got a populated Excel 2010 worksheet which I wish to export as XML so I can use it as source for a Spry table in Dreamweaver.

Everything I have found so far addresses the question of importing XML data into Excel and I haven't yet found anything useful to help solve my problem.

I've got as far as creating an XML schema to give one field per column and importing that into the XML source box. Dragging the field names onto columns only works for the RH column. The rest all generate an alert saying "The operation cannot be completed because the result would overlap an external data range or Pivot Table." But there are no pivot tables in the workbook and I have cleared all backward references to the earlier multiple worksheets in the same workbook from which I consolidated the data. And I've reduced everything to values so there are no formulae, but still no joy.

Hints gratefully accepted.

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
