Can't believe I have to ask this but what I am trying is clearly not working.

I had a column of cells from I2 - I47 named "Resource" I simply would like to add cell I48 to that group now and keep the name "Resource" but each time I highlight the group and type in the name "Resource" is jumps back up to I47, completely ignoring what I just told it.

any thoughts?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
If you are using Excel2007, from the menu select: Formulas - Name Manager - select your range name, then click 'Edit' and update the 'Refers to:' to the range you require [something like =Sheet1!$I$2:$I$48]

Thanks!

It's kinda ridiculous that it's so easy to name a range the first time, but to update it even once requires a formula. Ah well.

Thanks again.
