I have seen posts on this topic back in January but none of them reall asnwered the basic question.

If you have two sheets. In sheet 1 you have references to sheet 2. Sheet 2 is password protected. When you open sheet 1 it tries to reresh the links to the external data (assuming you have it set to do that autmatically). When it does that you are prompted for the password for sheet 2. Is there any way around this issue? I have 20 sheets referenced each with a different password. So on opening the master workbook it prompts for all 20 passwords. There is no VB code on any of the sheets.

Is there any way to refernce the passwords in the master XL file? Is there a quick way to put in a macro for "On Open" to enter the passwords for the prompts without opening all 20 workbooks?
