Good morning
How can one extract the currency symbol from the regional settings of Windows XP to use in a string or cell entry in Excel 2003,
ie in South Africa the currency symbol is R, and say I want to create an entry in cell B3 that will read "Net Rental Rate - R/m²" based on the formula =("Net Rental Rate - ")&(Currency_Symbol)&("/m²"), I need to be able to get the letter "R" in place of the (Currency_Symbol) in the formula. I make use of a lot of custom number formating in the spreadsheet, and to change each cell every time I work in different currencies would not be viable.
Thanks
