Hi Guys,

What is the best way to extract the start of the month in "DD/MM/YY" format from the below and store it as a date.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
If it's a real date & not text, try
Excel Formula:
=EOMONTH(A2,-1)+1

Ok, how about
Excel Formula:
=EOMONTH(RIGHT(A2,8),-1)+1
