Hello everyone,

Can someone help me to extract some information from sheet. The code needs to take the name from A2 and search in the sheet with the same name, ant to take info from a specified cell. In the end in the Overview sheet i want to have all the names with all info from the cell next to their names, from the sheet with the same name. Thanks in advance for your support and have a nice day.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Try this in cell B2

Excel Formula:
=VLOOKUP(A2,INDIRECT("'"&A2&"'!A:B"),2,0)
