Hi,

I need help on the following:

I have the following string - Arthur Miller.com - 44444

I need a formula to extract the com in another column. Problem is the text after the dot is not always going to be a 3 letters.

Any help will be appreciated!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
If not length, what does determine the end of the result?
Could you give us some more examples of input and desired result.

And, just as a guess, =TRIM(MID(A1, FIND(".",A1&".")+1, 4))

This works providing there's only one dot in the text and the 3 characters are always followed by a space and a dash...
=MID(A1,FIND(".",A1)+1,FIND("-",A1)-FIND(".",A1)-2)
