Hi
UK registration numbers are formatted AB52CDE. I want my sheet to work out the year of registration by extracting the numbers from the cell but I don't know how to do it. Is there an easy formula?

Thanks

If there are no spaces try

=MID(A1,3,2)+0

works beautifully :) as i will not be able to control how people will enter the info, is there a way of doing it if there is a space between the letters & numbers?
