Hi all,

If i have this code:

VBA Code:
TempFileName = "File name with date: " & Format(Now, "dd-mm-yy")

How can i change the part "Format(Now, "dd-mm-yy")" instead to give the date of today, give me a date in a determinate cell of the "sheet1"

For example:

VBA Code:
TempFileName = "File name with date: " & Range("A3")

Thank you all for your help! :)

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
How about
VBA Code:
TempFileName = "File name with date: " & format(Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A3"),"dd-mm-yy")
