How do I extract specific Words from a cell that contains sentence. For example Cell a1 has Apple Green, Tree, In Cell B1 I want to extract only Tree

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Can you establish a single rule, or set of rules for what single word is to be extracted?
Can you share this rule(s)?

HotNumbers,

What version of Excel are you using?

You will generally get much more help (and faster) in this forum if you can post your small samples (what you have and what you expect to achieve) directly in the forum.

To attach screenshots, see below in my Signature block: Post a screen shot with one of these:

HotNumbers,

Can we have separate screenshots of each worksheet, showing the data in their exact cell locations?
