Hi, I am trying to find a way to extract information from an office annual leave chart, but only where certain criteria is satisfied. I am OK with basic formulae but nothing too complex so hoping someone can help.

Essentially, what I want to do (in a long handed way) - if A17:A28 equals "Kathryn P" then count how many entries of "AL" there are on those relevant rows in column E, and put the total number of instances in cell H50 (I can then amend the formula for the other teams, leave type etc.).

I am really hoping there is a way to do this!

Thanks in advance!
