I have a sheet which contains a list of 100 names along with additional information. The list has 4 columns and as I say 100 rows. I have highlighted the entire list and defined it as "CrewMass".

Column 4 of the list has either a "Y" or "N" in it. I would like to be able to extract all the names in the list that have a "Y" in the row and place them in a seperate list on the same sheet.

I have tried using the filter facility which does filter the list leaving just the rows with the "Y" in it but I cannot see how to then pull just those names out to populate another list without getting rows with "FALSE" due to the names that have a "N" in colomn 4?

Any help gratfully received

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Select the filtered list, press F5, click Special, tick Visible Cells Only then click OK. You can then copy and paste elsewhere.
