Extracting Hour from Date and Time

Hi,

I need a help in Excel in seperating the Hour (hh AM/PM) from the Date and Time (mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss) format.

Example:

A1 = 3/23/2011 7:19:43 PM

Result Needed as 07:00:00 PM

Can any one help me in resolving this issue.

=FLOOR(MOD(A1,1),1/24)

Format as Time.

and formated as time.

Try this...

=HOUR(A1)/24

Format in the Time style of your choice.
