I am trying to pull specific data from a 'master' datasheet. - 4k rows.
Here are my options:
1. copy/paste over entire 4k rows then delete each row that doesn't meet the 'requirement' - trying to filter ( without a real filter ) based on customer name. this seems to be a very sloooww way to do this.
2. verify each of the 4k rows and IF the requirement is met, copy the needed columns over to new sheet. Still pretty slow.
3. Could create a 'temp' pivot table and then just copy/paste the 'filtered' data over.
I am thinking about going with # 1 or # 3, but is there an easier way to delete certain rows ( without verifying 1 at a time ? ).
Ideas?
