OK...being a sports geek,I like to get alot of info put into a spreadsheet...what I have been trying to get done is figuring out how to create a formula that will recognize Best of 3,5 or 7 games....I manage to find a formula that someone created for a tennis tournament where if the winner hit 6..or 7 if it wasnt by more than 2,2 out of 3 sets or 3 out of 5...they advanced......What I want is for the winner of each set not have a set number...but just the highest like baseball or hockey...Ill post a screenshot of the formula here....and need help in figuring what needs changed to achieve the result Im looking for

Thx
Steve

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
FOR ME the objective is not clear.

This is just not enough to try to assist.
a formula that will recognize Best of 3,5 or 7 games
What I want is for the winner of each set not have a set number...but just the highest like baseball or hockey

Maybe try to describe the need again. Maybe an example or two?

Also the picture provided is not very helpful. Please use Mr Excel's excellent addin that enables you to post a portion of your worksheet. See HERE.

Finally, consider providing a link to your workbook so helpers do not have to try to recreate it. Use Box, Dropbox or 1Drive.
