Hi,

I have received an excel file when i open it prompts me for enable editing option when i enable it it gives lot of #N/A values.

This file contains lot of formulas.

When it is in view mode i am able to see the values in all cells but when i enable lot of cells give #N/A values.

Can someone help how to open the file save and print the contents of this file without getting #N/A values.

Thanks for your help in advance

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Are they formulae linking to an invalid source? You could possibly try opening the spreadsheet with calculations turned off, then copying and pasting values before it calculates and display any n/a's

Dear Tuelor,

All are cells are in the same file. When the file is opened the values are displayed and when enable editting is clicked the value gives N/A for some cells.

Unfortunatly I can not recreate your error - it looks like it is something wrong with the dates (or something else within the spreadsheet).

Does Excel recognise the correct date format (ie all date data in English format and not American) ?
