I have a spreadsheet of 24,000 kb, I suspect it's this large due to the number of formulae stored in it, is there a way of determining the size of each tab within the file? I could then look at deleting parts of the largest tabs where possible to reduce it to a more manageable size.
Thanks.

Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
I've tried this already but it never managed to do it because it takes such a long time to paste, I've waited 40 minutes before having to close it down via the Task Manager and then re-open. It's got to the stage where if I even delete rows it can take 8 minutes to process, so I really need to find out which part of the file is using most memory and remove or reduce it.

No, I haven't tried this. Do you mean in order to copy a tab to a new workbook or to run the file more efficiently?

I've now set calc to manual, saved the file, re-opened it, copied a tab to a new workbook, but it still hasn't pasted after 9 minutes...

I gave up after 36 minutes. Even opening the file is now taking 4 minutes, do you think this is something I ought to refer to the I.T. dept instead?
