Hello,
I want to end some new VBAcode with a "save as" under a filename like "yymmddSomeString" where yymmdd is just the current date without any slashes or other seperators.
Can anybody help me ?
Thanks a lot!
Herman

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
You'll need to update the bold to suit your need, but this is what I use in my files to save as with the date.

Sub SaveAsReport()

Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Application.DisplayAlerts = False

Dim TargetFolder As String
TargetFolder = Range("SAVEASFILEPATH")

ThisWorkbook.SaveAs TargetFolder & "FILENAME " & Format(Now(), "yymmdd") & ".xlsx", FileFormat:=xlOpenXMLWorkbook, CreateBackup:=False

Application.ScreenUpdating = True
Application.DisplayAlerts = True

End Sub
