Hello,

I have a column that is formatted in currency (accounting). Choices:
1. How can I filter it so that it will show only USD or Euro or RON?
2. Or how do I make an exchange formula? If it is ron to only show the value, if it is usd to *with 2,8, if it is euro to * with 4,16
3. Or how do I transform the column in 2 columns, one showing the currency and one showing the value.

Number 3 is more convenient, but any solution will be fine.

Please help a noob

Thanks

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Use Cell function to identify the format =cell(format, cellreference) in to new column, then you can filter the data

How do you get the formatting in column E? Do you do it manually or is it based on other information that is hidden in the screenshot you have posted? Do you know what currency each line is by any way except the currency sign in column E?

that is a list with prices from my supplier. there is no way for me to tell if the price is in euro or usd or ron except that column witch has the prices. The problem is that the column is formatted as Accounting and I do not know how to split it in 2 colums, one with euro, usd or ron, and one with the number. (other then manually copy the column, past it in notepad, then get it back in excel and put it in 2 columns, because when I past it to notepad I get the euro, usd signs).

Or how do I calculate: if it is ron to stay the same, if it is euro to * with 4,16 , if it is usd to * with 2,8.

Thanks for your help
