I am trying to filter by color a column containing 5145 rows. Cells meeting the conditionally formatting criteria are colored green. The values in the column are the result of using "VLOOKUP". There are values in every cell, though some are "0".
There are 49 cells which are colored green, however when I apply the data filter, FILTER BY CELL COLOR, only 5 values are returned and one of them is not even green. I have taken the filter OFF and re-applied several times, but no change in the results. All of the cells have the GENERAL format. I am using Excel 2010. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have googled the question, but have not found any relevant answers. Thanks, Ted

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Can you put a sample file somewhere (OneDrive/Dropbox/Other) and post a link here? I'd like to see what's happening.

Rory, my firewall at work won't allow me to access any filesharing sites.............I will send file to my home email and then load to a sharing site tonight. Thanks for your help.
