Hi,

I am looking to use a macro in order to automatically filter a large amount of data and then create a report without alowing the user access to the data.

The part of this i need help with is relating the data in four cells that the user has access to with filtering the data.

the user will be able to put data in the following boxes (Sheet1-B8,D8,F8,H8)

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 467pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=621 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 63pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3072" width=84><COL style="WIDTH: 21pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 1024" width=28><COL style="WIDTH: 70pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3401" width=93><COL style="WIDTH: 18pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 877" width=24><COL style="WIDTH: 136pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6619" width=181><COL style="WIDTH: 16pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 768" width=21><COL style="WIDTH: 143pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6948" width=190><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: silver; WIDTH: 63pt; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl67 height=17 width=84> Date From</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #d4d0c8; BORDER-LEFT: #d4d0c8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #eaeaea; WIDTH: 21pt; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: #d4d0c8" class=xl65 width=28> </TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: silver; WIDTH: 70pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl67 width=93> Date to</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #d4d0c8; BORDER-LEFT: #d4d0c8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #eaeaea; WIDTH: 18pt; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: #d4d0c8" class=xl65 width=24> </TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: silver; WIDTH: 136pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl67 width=181> Client</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #d4d0c8; BORDER-LEFT: #d4d0c8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #eaeaea; WIDTH: 16pt; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: #d4d0c8" class=xl63 width=21> </TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: silver; WIDTH: 143pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl67 width=190> Depot</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl66 height=17 x:num="40683">20/05/2011</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #d4d0c8; BORDER-LEFT: #d4d0c8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #eaeaea; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: #d4d0c8" class=xl63> </TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl66 x:num="40790">04/09/2011</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #d4d0c8; BORDER-LEFT: #d4d0c8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #eaeaea; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: #d4d0c8" class=xl63> </TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl64>All</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #d4d0c8; BORDER-LEFT: #d4d0c8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #eaeaea; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: #d4d0c8" class=xl63> </TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white; BORDER-TOP: #d4d0c8; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl64>All</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I then want to use the information as defined above to filter data stored under the following headings (Sheet2-B2:J2):

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 1048pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=1395 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 65pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3145" span=2 width=86><COL style="WIDTH: 67pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3254" width=89><COL style="WIDTH: 112pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 5449" width=149><COL style="WIDTH: 123pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 5997" span=2 width=164><COL style="WIDTH: 133pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6473" width=177><COL style="WIDTH: 132pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6436" width=176><COL style="WIDTH: 228pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 11117" width=304><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 18pt; mso-height-source: userset" height=24><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 65pt; HEIGHT: 18pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 height=24 width=86>Date</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 65pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=86>Logged By</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 67pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=89>HC Ref</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 112pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=149>Int/External</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 123pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=164>Client</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 123pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=164>Depot</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 133pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=177>Department</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 132pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=176>Fault Area</TD><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffcc00; WIDTH: 228pt; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid" class=xl65 width=304>Fault</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

As yet i am falling short of a solution, any help would be much appriciated.

Many thanks in advance
