trying to get the Filter formula to pull data out of multiple sheets, and put it into one table, using this formula
=FILTER('sheet1:sheet2'!B17:H105,'sheet1:sheet2'!Z17:Z105=1)
but no matter what I try I can't get it to work.

any help ??

I should say using it on a single sheet works fine, it's trying to get multiple sheets to work together that's the issue

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)

The FILTER function is not designed to do that.

You would need to create a combined source in a single sheet, then filter on that.
