I have a column that i would like to be able to filter out dates before or after which ever date I choose, but when i click on the filter, it gives me the "text filters" option, not "date filters". It will give me a date filter when i have less than 150 rows (give or take), but when i have more than that, it turns the date filter into a text filter. There are quite a few blank cells but they all have "if" formulas in them. How do keep the date filter? The sheet has a total of 6332 rows. And I'm using excel 2010.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
If the cells are blank, as in returning "" or something, I'd set them up to return 0 and then conditionally format those cells in the column to have white text on white background if they equal zero so they still have the appearance of blank. Or if you're filtering them out, dont worry about hte format and exclude them from your filter.
