Filter out data based on range of cell values using formula

I have data like below and I'm trying to use a filter formula to remove certain entries based on their email address:

I'm adding the emails I want to filter out into row E but the formula below isn't removing them from the original data set. What am I missing?

Formula:
Excel Formula:
=FILTER(A:D, D:D<>E:E)

Sample:
First NameLast NameRoleEmail
 

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
How about
Excel Formula:
=FILTER(A2:D1000,(D2:D1000<>"")*(ISNA(MATCH(D2:D1000,E2:E20,0))))
