Filtering in Excel on an linked table

Hi,

I have a table linked from Access and I am trying to filter the data and it's not working.

I have removed the query table header as it is a list of dates duplicated and have a macro which names the column headings above the imported table. However when trying to filter on this row for the tables in the rows below it does not work - even if I unlink the table.

Am I being thick or can anyone help?

Cheers

M
