Hi guapos y guapas,

When filtering a large spreadsheet ie 24000 rows, the filter dropdown box is not showing all items that is contained in that column. Therefore in that instance, the filter could not be performed on that missing record....

Is this problem to do with Excel itself or am I just querying a large data that exceeded the limit on the filtering dropdown options? Or am I doing something wrong.

I made sure that all data are shown and that there are no existing filters. Also, I have highlighted the relevant fields when I created the filter. I just cannot see what I have done wrong...

This is my first time in MrExcel.
Thank you so much for your help.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
hallo,

welkom to the board.

I have experinced the same problem. I do not know what causes it. But I solve it by sorting the column ascending (or descending) and than the filter does show all possibly items
