Hi,

I'm working on a project where I have different securities portfolios (From passive to aggressive) and their monthly returns for the past 3 years and would like to create a workbook where a client can be shown returns and a chart by each type of portfolio (On the first worksheet, a drop down button is used to choose portfolio.) Any idea on where to start?

Thank you so much.

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Dropdowns can be created with the "Forms" toolbar. Or you can just use data validation (if such is your wont). You can use names as the graph series to change dynamically based on the dropdown, or you could use INDEX(MATCH()) formulas to automatically retrieve the proper data based on the dropdown.

Though that's basic, that's where you can start?
