hello,

is there a way to find and replace the wildcard and question mark?

for example, I have a cell with the following text "hell*there?how_is_it_going?"

I want to use the replace command in excel to replace the "*" with "@" and the "?" with "@@".

The problem I am running into is that when I use the "*" in the "Find What:" field of excel, then choose replace, it replaces everything.

Thanks in advance,

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
preceed special characters with a ~ to use them in find - replace operations.
