find merged cells?

Is there an easy way to find merged cells? I'm trying to sort and keep getting a message that there are merged cells

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
