FIND method - LookAt parameter

Hi,

How to use properly the LookAt parameter(xlPart or xlWhole) of the FIND method?

I searched the internet and could not find a clear explanation.

Even in the Microsoft VBA Language Reference pages there is not a good one.

Anyone knows the meaning of xlPart and xlWhole?

Any help would be appreciated.

XlParrt means "containing", xlWhole = exact

xlWhole means the text you are searching for must fill the whole cell; in other words, all the text in the cell must be the same as the text you are searching for.

xlPart means the text you are searching for only needs to be part of the text in the cell... there can be additional text in the cell along with the text you are searching for.
