find Min & Max value for a item

Hi Mr.Excel,

I've a list of Items ordered in different PO's with prices changing according to the supplier. I would like to know the Maximum and Minimum item price charged for a particular item.
E.g lets say PO's for item "A" are charged with unit price $4,$4.5,$10,$15 and so on...

Use =MAX and =MIN functions

Type

=Max(if(item column="A",Cost column))

Enter with Ctrl+Alt+Enter

it will look like :
{=Max(if(item column="A",Cost column))}
