Hello,

I am trying to protect my workbook from being shared with other companies. I would like to use vba to look for a certain file in a certain directory and if it is there to do nothing or if it is missing to run a module that will delete all existing modules.

I have found a module online that removes everything, but how would I accomplish looking in a specific directory for a certain file and either do nothing if it is there or run the self destruct sequence?

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Try something like this:
Code:
If Dir("C:\Path\To\Your\File.ext") = "" Then ... ' Remove everything and exit

If, by 'modules' you're referring to VBA code modules, that would only work if you can first persuade the user who shouldn't have access to the workbook to grant trusted access to the VBA project object model. This is not something that can be done programmatically.
