Find the most common number against a lot of data

Hi,

So basically in column A i have several thousand codes and in column D i have lots of numbers (quantities), i need a formula which would give me the most commonist quantity against each code.

So i think the Mode formula would be best but i just cant get my head round the formula, any help would be much appreciated.

I'd suggest something like:

=MODE(FILTER(F1:F1000,A1:A1000=A1))

adjusting the ranges as needed.
