Hi,

Is it possible to default excel 2010's search (ctrl+f) to workbook instead of worksheet.

I know various find comands can be preset (ie lookin/lookat) using vba and saving this in the xlstart folder, however i can't
seem to find anyway of setting the "within" command to workbook.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
yes,

i am using 2010 and the find dialog box has an option to select where you need to find in withIn,

just change the withIn drop down to worbook from worksheets
