Hi.
I am running sql from excel to lookup some fields to populate excel.

I got thru my last post problem getting movelast & movefirst to work. Now FindFirst does not work.
My sql runs fine, movelast & movefirst work, but I get the 3251 error on execution of findfirst.

Code:
Dim wsEngine As DAO.Workspace
Dim dbConnect As DAO.Database
Dim rsRDO As DAO.Recordset

	connectstr = "ODBC;DSN=ADW_ADHOC;UID=;pwd=;"
    	Set wsEngine = CreateWorkspace("ODBCWorkspace", "[User Name]", "[Password]", dbUseODBC)
	Set dbConnect = wsEngine.OpenDatabase("[Name]", False, True, connectstr)

	Set rsRDO = dbConnect.OpenRecordset(sqlstr, dbOpenDynaset)
        rsRDO.MoveLast
        rsRDO.MoveFirst
	rsRDO.FindFirst "[PROJECT_ID]='16345'" ---- error 3251 - Operation Not supported for this type of object

Thanks for the help
