Hello,

can anyone please help with a formula.....

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Perhaps:

=AVERAGE(LARGE($A$1:$A$10,ROW(INDIRECT("1:7"))))

Confirm with CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER, rather than just Enter.
