Is there a way to quickly find a column number used in a vlookup instead of counting every single column?

For example, i have 1000 columns, i want to start the table array from column V and i want to return column AAQ.

Thanks!

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Pick any blank row. Type 1 and column A, and 2 in column B. Then highlight these two cells, and drag all the way out to your last column.
You will now have a column counter you can reference.

You can also use Index/Match instead of vlookup.
Much easier to specify columns.

=INDEX(AAQ:AAQ,MATCH(lookupvalue,V:V,0))

finds lookupvalue in column V, returns value from AAQ
