# Finding consecutive numbers within a number set

I need a formula the looks at 3 digit number sets in the cells in columns I, J and K for the number of consecutive digits in a combination.
For example:
the number of consecutives are between 1 and 3

example A
I1:K1= 123, therefore, L1=3
example B
I2:K2=124, therefore, L2=2
example C
I3:K3=135, therefore, L3=1

Try:

=(J1=I1+1)+(K1=J1+1)+1

Yes, that works fine. Thanks fairwinds.
