I have a master data of students & their details. their answer booklet no & bar code is saved in two corresponding columns. i am scanning the answer sheets with bar code. the machine displays a particular alpha numerical no. the scanner is compatible with excel.the alpha numeric no displayed goes the cell where ever the cursor is placed in the sheet.
what i want to do is once the bar code is scanned the cursor should move to the cell where already that particular no is there & highlight it.in the sheet so that i can avoid searching for that no in the whole column
is there any VBA program possible for that
