Flyout contents and format changes

I am looking for a way to change the content and format of chart fly-outs. My current fly-out shows the name of the data point and the dollar amount (incorrectly formatted). I want to change the dollar amounts to the percentage of total OR if not possible to format the dollar amounts with $, and .

I have excel 2000 and fly outs not on it - data labels format exactly as my data...

Sorry, I should have stated I am using Excel 2013. I actually want to change the information displayed in the flyout, such as removing $$ amounts and replace them with the % of total. Thank you for your response.
