I'm joining the Radio Broadcast team as the Stats guy. Long ago when I was an assistant coach I had a spreadsheet that I used to collect all the stats and I'm trying to recreate it.

I need a formula to auto calc yardage. Column C will say either OWN or OPP depending on which side of the 50 the ball is on. Column D will have the actual yard line the play starts on. Column E will have either OWN or OPP and Column F will have the ending side of the field and yard line the play ends at. In Column G I want a formula that will calculate the yardage gained/lost on the play.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
