I'm working with a company that wants us to do a 12 month forecast to sell their items in store, but I've never seen these definitions before, they include:

<table style="width: 342px; height: 132px;" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><col style="width: 95pt;" width="126"> <col style="width: 116pt;" width="154"> <tbody><tr style="height: 15pt;" height="20"> <td class="xl70" style="height: 15pt; width: 95pt;" width="126" height="20">PCU</td> <td class="xl72" style="width: 116pt;" width="154">Peak Concurrent User</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 15pt;" height="20"> <td class="xl70" style="height: 15pt; border-top: medium none;" height="20">AU(PCU X 15)</td> <td class="xl72">Active Users</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 15pt;" height="20"> <td class="xl71" style="height: 15pt; border-top: medium none;" height="20">PU rate</td> <td class="xl72">Paying User Rate</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 15pt;" height="20"> <td class="xl71" style="height: 15pt; border-top: medium none;" height="20">PU</td> <td class="xl72">Paying User </td> </tr> <tr style="height: 15pt;" height="20"> <td class="xl71" style="height: 15pt; border-top: medium none;" height="20">ARPU</td> <td class="xl72">Average Revenue Per User</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

I'm including a part of the spreadsheet so you can see how they are being calculated. Can anyone explain what these are? I'm not sure why the numbers are being multiplied by 10 then multiplied by 5%.

I don't mean to sound unhelpful but I'd strongly suggest that if you're not sure what the other company means by these terms, then you ask them to clarify.

People on this board may have an idea of what they refer to, but their ideas may be slightly different or even totally different from the company you're talking to.
