Form checkbox protection

Hi there

I've a number of form check boxes that I want to be protected so they can't be moved or edited but obviously can be checked ON and OFF... however when I set the Format Control/Protection to Locked/Lock Text and then protect the sheet, the editing/moving of the checkbox is disabled, but it won't allow me to actually use the checkbox as a checkbox... it reminds me to unprotect the sheet.

Am I just missing something really simple?

My apologies... it came to me very quickly that it was because of protection on the cells that the check boxes were changing from TRUE/FALSE. I had to unlock these cells and it worked... sorry!
