I know this is a simple question but for the life of me I don't know how to access the properties of a label which I have created from the Forms Control toolbar.

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Just make sure the Properties window is shown (press F4), and all the properties are in there. You need to select the label on the form first though...

When I use the Developer ribbon and press the label and then press the Properties 'button', it shows the properties of Sheet1 and not the label properties?

Pressing F4 doesn't do anything even if I select the label!

Ah if I use activex controls and then create a label then I do get the properties.

There doesn't seem to be a property that allows me to change the font size?

Sorry, I was confused and thought you were talking about a userform.
Glad you found it yourself meanwhile...

You have to click the little button with three dots when you select the Font property, this will open the font dialog where you can change the size...

Use the Font property - click the ellipsis button next to it when you click in the Font field.

Out of curiousity, how do you access the properties of a Form control on a sheet as opposed to an ActiveX control?
