Hi... there is a way to assign macro to select first option on the drop down list on form control? I try to record one, selecting the dropdown but it does not record! what can I do?? :confused:

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
If you mean a combobox on a userform, then set its listindex to 0

Basic code in the form would be:

how and when you trigger that is up to you - possibly in the userform_initialize event.
