Format number column in pivot Rows

Hi. I want to display a couple of whole number columns in the Rows section (not the Values section) of a pivot table, and I'd like to format those columns to display with the thousands separator, but still allow the user to drag/reorder columns without them losing the formatting. As it is now, I can select the column and format it with the thousands separator, but if I then drag/reorder the column the formatting doesn't follow to the new location.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Dragging and dropping within the table itself should carry the formatting.

If you're re-ordering the columns in the field list in such a way that the column can be expanded / collapsed then it will only carry the formatting to the collapsed column (total column when expanded). The expanded columns created by this are new so would not have had the format applied to them.
