Formatting Cells based on currency input

Hi Board,

It's probably a simple thing to do, but I can't seem to do it

i'm currently developing a template and what i would like to do is to have a single cell which is a drop down menu from which the user can select a form of currency ($, £, € etc.) and based on this selection the other cells which are costs can be formatted to currency figures showing the chosen format.

if anyone is able to help i would be grateful.
