Good morning. I'm using this code to populate a cell with a date from another cell:

VBA Code:
Sheets("Calendar").Range("P" & ActiveCell.Row).Value = Sheets("Calendar").Range("DB" & ActiveCell.Row).Text

The source date in column DB is formatted as such: 8/31/2022 7:47 AM

When it displays in column P I need it to be formatted like this: 8/31

I tried variations of this without luck:

VBA Code:
Sheets("Calendar").Range("P" & ActiveCell.Row).Value = Sheets("Calendar").Range("DB" & ActiveCell.Row).Text, Format("M/D")

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Maybe this?:

VBA Code:
    Sheets("Calendar").Range("P" & ActiveCell.Row).Value = Sheets("Calendar").Range("DB" & ActiveCell.Row).Text

    ActiveCell.NumberFormat = "M/D"

This does not work:

VBA Code:
    Sheets("Calendar").Range("P" & ActiveCell.Row).Value = "'" & Sheets("Calendar").Range("DB" & ActiveCell.Row).Value

    ActiveCell.NumberFormat = "M/D"
