Sorry for heading, hard to put into few words what I need.

I have certain figures on a monthly basis in columns E:P.
These figures are cumulative figures and come from worksheets within same workbook.

What I need is a formula to transfer say the figure in cell E51 in sheet named "sheet production summary" to cell AA8 initially in sheet named Mar 2011 and then F21 of "sheet production summary" sheet to AA21 of Apr 2011 etc through to Feb 2012.

I had tried to use MAX formula however this will end up with same totals across all monthly tabs.

What formula will provide what I need.

Thanks
Pedro

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Sorry for initial post which was very confusing to say the least, and should be completely disregarded.

I need a formula for the following situation

Tab named “production summary” will have balances in cells E51:P51 with these columns covering months of Mar 2011 to Feb 2012.

I will have other tabs named Mar 2011 through to Feb 2012 .

What I want to do is have a formula that will transfer balances in row 51 of “production summary” sheet to cell AA8 of the tab covering the same month .

It is important that once transferred the balance in AA8 remains constant .

I had tried using MAX function however this did not work.

Any assistance greatly appreciated and sorry for the confusion my original post caused.

Pedro
